Match Report
Bolton beat Stingers in the preseason friendly so Stingers knew they had to secure a win. The preseason game had a lot of key players out so the result was a fair one then.

The stingers started solidly with some excellent football being played. Bolton looked shell shocked as they were finding it hard to deal with Stingers consistent pressure. Mini Me was upfront on her own and used her pace to apply pressure. My defenders had a great game at the back and the difference in my confidence with my defenders shows we are just simply solid (though Shell still manages to scream at me every 10 minutes!!). Midfield played extremely well with getting the ball to Jin who produced some exciting football which was surprising since she is weighed down with all those curls. Katie opened the score line with a cracking shot from outside the box and her celebration was an emotional one. Blade crossed for Mini Me to put her head on the end and scored a great 2nd goal.

The Stingers went into the second half feeling positive and proud of such a good first half performance. Stingers wrapped up with a great solo effort from Aisha which was excellent. The game ended with Stingers feeling pleased at such a wonderful well worked game of football. Stingers face GMP next week which is always tough but after last season's stunning display against them we know what we are capable of.
