Match Report
On a rain soaked day stingers travelled to Cheadle to play Fletcher Moss.
With new players the Stingers know it is going to be a while until people
settle into there positions. FM started well and scored the first goal,
Rach T had a good chance but hit it wide ( someone must remind Rach to drop
the cider and black whilst heading for goal). FM scored again and are
obviously a fit organised team. Stingers pulled one back with a goal from
Aish to go into half time with an ok score considering the conditions. The
second half brought an array of goals from FM and overall Stingers looked
deflated and tired. The rain didn't ease and everybody just felt the final
whistle couldn't come soon enough. The final score was 9-1 to FM and yes I
was in nets but they were by far the better team on the day. Coach knows
where the team need to improve and hopefully against Bolton on Sunday we
can produce a confident consistent performance.
